Topic: M2TS Files & Playback on a Blu Ray Player

Hey folks, I'm trying to playback those *.m2ts files from this site (all the cool DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD demos) on my Samsung BD 6500 and LG 555.

I made a DVD-R AVCHD disc (which contain the *.m2ts files) and some clips play "choppy" on my LG Blu Ray player and most clips play choppy on my Samsung Blu-Ray player.

Is this choppy playback due to the bit rate and speed limitation of the laser reading the DVD-R?  I have no problems with MKV, AVI, etc. playback via USB Flash stick or DVD-R.

I don't have a Blu Ray writer or I'd try that and I'm not sure how to make a USB AVCHD disc or get the *.m2ts files to play via USB.  Any insight offered
is appreciated.

Cheers,

M

Hello
i don't know if you are able to play these files straight from an USB Stick. Could be a problem that the Clips didn't run in the right resolution like 60p / 30p in Full-HD on your equipment. Please check that too. Create an AVCHD on your USB Stick is very easy with the programm "multiavchd". With that tool, you can also create the files for burning on an DVD too. Please give it a try and also create an disc with that tool too and check it again if you got the problems during playlack.

By the way with which programm do you made the AVCHD Disc ? Did you re-author the Clips again ?
